Extra Help (LIS)

To qualify for Extra Help, annual income must be limited to $21,870 for an individual or $29,580 for a married couple living together.

Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB)

Income limits for an individual is $1,133 monthly.

Income limits for a Married Couple is $1,526 monthly.

Qualified Individual (QI)

Individual monthly income limit $1,426. Married Couple monthly income limit $1,923, Individual resource limit $7,730. Married couple resource limit $11,600.

Specified Low Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB)

Has countable income between 120% and 135% of the Federal Poverty Level. Has countable resources below the income limit ($9,090 for an individual and $13,630 for a married couple) Is not otherwise eligible for full Medicaid benefits.
